Who?
I'm Madalena Bastos: designer, illustrator and dreamer.
A creative child in a grown-up body.

Drawing has always been a part of me, as much as playing. I dreamed of being a teacher but soon realized that my hands wanted to draw. I managed to bring the two worlds together and create products that take me to schools and play with children, to teach and work on creativity. Today, I dedicate myself to pedagogic books and games, giving value to manual work and originality.
I'm also the one who edits all the books and games that fly by the name Mariqosa.
